The gallery exhibits ceramics, paintings and an assortment of handmade Puerto Rican Santos. The exhibits do not follow any specific art style, and they change depending on the artists present at the time. Galeria Botello is a place for artists and designers, architects and other visitors to visit the gallery, relax, and utilize their space to create some memories.

A mansion that dates back to 350 years exhibits the finest contemporary and internationally acclaimed artists. It has been restored to its former splendour. The mansion located in Old San Juan belonged to Angel Botello, a Galician artist who emigrated to the Caribbean to refine his art.

05 Walter Otero Contemporary Art Gallery

This gallery with three floors located in Puerta de Tierra aims to challenge the traditional model of the gallery. WOCA incorporates institutional and education elements, in addition to archive components within the gallery. Petrus Gallery’s visionary director and owner Sylvia Villafane detected a niche in the contemporary art scene of Puerto Rico’s market. 09. Centro Cultural Carmen Sola de Pereira de Ponce

The Carmen Sola de Pereira de Ponce Cultural Center was established in 1963. It is Ponce’s primary cultural centre. It is located in the city’s historic region, this Center has exhibitions of art and education and also cultural activities. In 1992 the Center’s headquarters were a historic colonial home that dates to the 1870s. Each month, the cultural Center hosts a special evening of art, during which they exhibit works of art by local artists.

The Center’s main offerings include “Noches of Galeria”, in which the Center showcases artistic renditions by Poncenos and Puerto Ricans generally. More than 75 shows have been held every month since the beginning. The first offering was launched under the guidance of Centro President and artist Jose Balay Ruiz.

Centro Cultural also organizes and manages the annual Feria de Artesanias de Ponce, which is held at Plaza Las Delicias every year in April. April. The Center was named after Carmen Sola de Pereira, an exceptional educator and member from Ponce at the Puerto Rica Legislative Assembly. Sola de Pereira devoted her life to the education of children who are disadvantaged. She taught and was the school director at La Cantera, an underprivileged community located in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
