Hacienda Tres Angeles is the first farm that has been certified as Agrotourism that is owned by the Puerto Rico Tourism Company. It is situated near the village of Adjuntas, which is also known as the home of “El Giant Dormido” (The Sleeping Giant). Its temperate climate and high mountains make it an ideal environment for the cultivation of the top coffees around the world. The Hacienda offers green coffee from Single Origin Arabica/Caturra.
The quality of the soil used for growing and brewing coffee is crucial to conserving and maintaining coffee’s quality from the time of harvest to the cup. Tres Angeles was honoured as a World Champion by the United Nations World Tourism Organization in 2015 as Tourism World Champion, one of six in America and one of the 28 across the world.
